Other Applied Work & Projects
As I want to curate sacred spaces for everyone, I am primarily interested in curatorial pursuits. However, I have made sure to educate myself on other important aspects of museum work, so I do not neglect what is necessary in pursuit of my interest. Here are some key selections of some of the work I have done.

01
Provenance Research of a Collection Object
With my course in Collections Care and Management, each student was given a real-life object of which provenance of origin was unknown, and sometimes unknown in terms of the object's data. The project illustrated the difficulties of provenance research for unknown quantities and developed our skills in such.
02
Template for Object Theft Preparedness Plan
While working at my internship, I started to think about how many museum resources talk about security and preventing theft, but rarely about what to do if theft happens. Over a semester of research, I developed a detailed template for any museum to use of how to create an action plan if museum theft occurs. Please click on the image to have access to the pdf!

03
Strategic Plan Development
for Koorsen Fire Museum
As part of the Museum Administration course, we did a semester long project partnering with a museum to develop a five year strategic development plan that cumulated in a presentation of our plan to the board of directors. Due to the sensitive nature of the data, the document is not available for access.

Kids Program Development for the Museum of Broken Relationships
As part of the Museum Education course, my classmates and I helped to develop programs for the Musuem of Broken Relationships, based in Zagreb, Croatia. My group was responsible for developing a program for groups and families visiting with younger children. As the museum talks about relationships and negative emotions, they wanted a program to make their museum and mission accessible to a younger audience.
